Compared to the 25th anniversary attire, I feel like they lazily slapped a logo on tees and items then called it a day.
I was excited for the 30th lanyard and pin set this year until I saw it. It’s just a painted pin that will chip and wear unlike the casted metal one from 25th. Also, the lanyard is so boring. Looks like something I’d pick up at a Pokemon card or game event, not a 30th celebration. I loved the 25th lanyard that had all the starters on it. I’m still using it to this day. I was looking forward to a refresh.
Idk, I don’t hate any of it, just incredibly underwhelmed by it. Hopefully they put out more stuff that’s actually exciting.
I’m not trying to nostalgia bait for the 25th. It’s wasn’t a nostalgic moment when they released that stuff. I’ve been a Pokemon fan for all 30 years. I was thinking they’d release some cool stuff again this time around. Instead it’s just been a flat landing of boring merch.
