So was May unironically one of the best treated female companions of the anime, despite being in the show for a short amount of time?

May was only on the main cast for 4 years (2002-2006), and only got 1 cameo in DP due to her Japanese VA not being able to reprise the character in later gens. So despite the fact that May had such a limited role in the show, I feel unironically she was one of the best treated of the series (aside from Dawn, got the writers treated as a co-star), and I think May would have gotten some appearances to advertise ORAS back in 2014 and in Journeys had they been able to use her.
