Been a huge pokemon fan since I was 8 years old, it was year 2004 and I embarked my first ever pokemom journey with Pokemon Emerald, I still genuinely remember how I felt when I first choose my starter pokemon. It was Treecko and honestly it was love at first sight.
I went playing blindly. no guides, no internet just play to my heart's content. The feeling of excitement playing it without knowing how the story goes, wondering what is the next evolution of your pokemon and on what level, filling pokedex entries and figuring out how to find them. and of course, the goosebumps I got when I first witness how Rayquaza stared Groudon and Kyogre to submission like little kids arguing in the playground. it was an epic moment, unforgettable and nostalgic.
Seeing my Treecko evolving to Grovyle up to Sceptile is like seeing your bestfriend succeed because of your support, genuine love and care.
Now, Im thankful for Pokemon Go for allowing me to share a moment with my best pal Sceptile and reminding me that loving Pokemon games was never about age. it is timeless.
