Lapras on the other hand doesn’t look like a turtle at all. And i am pretty sure Lapras is not based on a reptile.

I don’t know why you chose me mime as your example for that square, but it is correct that it’s not based on a turtle nor looks like a turtle. I also find it funny turtwig is your most turtle like example, when it’s based on a tortoise (as is turtonator, and terrapagos is a terrapin)
I wonder what the least turtle like pokemon is? Something with not 4 limbs, no hard shell, no thick skin, no reptile, not slow, not round, not aquatic nor deserts/grasslands. I reckon haunter is among the least turtle like pokemon. Naganadel or eternatus could be up there too but something about their heads give me more turtley vibes than haunter. Not by much, just a little.
