Hello everyone, I have a deck box that I’m starting to produce and sell. I am a finish carpenter/ woodworker and was a young kid when base set came out. I got back into playing recently because of my kids and now we’re hooked. These are being made of Baltic Birch ply due to its strength and stability. The material is only a 1/4” thick so it’ll be light weight and the dimensions are almost identical to a standard deck box. They’ll be put together using dovetail joinery, so there’s no nails or screws. There’s also no plastic used at all, so it’s good for the environment and will have a natural feel and esthetic. It can also be customized with stains, paints, laser engraving, etc. I have seen other deck boxes but are made of a thicker heavier material. I wanted something that is as close to a traditional deck box that offers a natural look and feel. Something that players can carry with them without any extra weight. I will also be making card storage boxes as well. I’ll be working on stackable solutions to save space. This is the 3d render of what the box will look like.
