I was on a drive across country and stopped at a shop that had some Pokémon cards. They were in legit looking packs in a legit looking box, and marketed as real packs. however when I opened the pack the cards all felt very off, all from different sets, and have a super plastic feel to them. Clearly they’re not official, as is evident by the metagross card being an off coloured blastoise, but I had a couple questions. First, is what they did even legal? Is there some recourse I can take? I’ll be driving past that place again in a few days on my way back home. Secondly, do these have any value? I heavily doubt it, but maybe they’re apart of some brand or something that’s worth something to someone?
