Long story time.
Haven’t opened a single AH pack yet because we all know how heavily it is scalped.
Got to my local target, which is not in a big city by any means and there was a line that was super long right at opening . So hopped in right as the doors were opening… as we were walking through They made an announcement no trainer boxes, but they still had AH lot of OP people there so i thought maybe a chance.
Shortly after another announcement it was all out and a lot of people dipped out of line in front of me but they announced they had prismatic so sure I’ll take it. (1 sticker pack allowed 😑) .. he said they would probably have them later went back home and went out for breakfast with my fiancé, which was close by Best Buy so I was using that as an excuse to go check there when it opened, but as you can expect that line was ridiculously long, and I jumped in as the doors opened but see all the product disappear quick then just walked out…
went back to target later that day and I just missed the ETB’s by an hour but they had AH mini tins restocked so was able to get one. .. decided to go check my local shop. I knew it was gonna be crowded, but I did not expect the line to be so packed because he doesn’t open up till one and it was ridiculous because he actually does sell them for a decent price 60… waited in line just to see the last ETB get sold three people in front of me which I didn’t even think it would go that long.. but he had product remaining of the blisters and mini tins . I said dang Bob I just missed them huh.
He goes. Oh, I’ll have some later today like are you sure? It goes yeah I’m sure there’s a whole box of them which I did witness a delivery guy walking in. This old guy behind me, which I know never been in the store before shouts when will this be? Bob yells when I get this line done I’m one person! The old guy asked is it OK if I wait here and Bob says I’d rather you not as I just walk out and say I might come back later after I get my kid from school which Bob know us .
I show up later and needless to say he had one left that somebody just called about 15 minutes prior. I can tell he was had one hell of a day store was finally empty with the regulars just hanging out in there…
1st pack from the etb got this pika.. It was a long ass day. Definitely wished it wasn’t this difficult
