New Plastic Type Pokemon!! Big Bird Therizinosaurus Pseudo, Bouncy Ball Grouses (that are also Wood type), and a Weird Thing! What do you think?

Naildle- They have a very gentle and curious disposition. But their claws are extremely sharp and don't seem to ever dull. There was once a reported case of one tripping and accidentally cleaving a street lamp and causing a massive amount of property damage.

Therissor- They wish to be taken seriously. They have an extremely poor attitude and are not team players. There was once a case of a trainer losing a League tournament because their Therissor just up and walked out of the stadium. Automatically forfeiting the match for the trainer.

Zerzino- Despite being able to dice a tank into little pieces with ease, they are extremely sociable and friendly around kids. They never take anything seriously and will sometimes decide to break out into song and dance during extreme disasters or emergencies. Their claws are known to be one of the sharpest things on the planet. Once a Zerzino tried to catch a trainer who fell from a balcony and they ended up making their injuries much worse.

Rubbird- They bounce around with glee. Hitting one is considered a bad idea as they can ricochet and counterattack their opponent.

Rubbounce- They are very heavy and can pack quite a wallop when aggravated. With enough momentum, they can bounce over skyscrapers.

Playstic- For the longest time, Playstic was a myth. Only recently have sightings been confirmed. There was an illegal and abandoned lab that was creating these things. Authorities entering the lab caused them to escape and populate in the wild.

The gimmick with the Naidle line is that it starts out with a whopping 160 attack stat but only learns Scratch, Peck, and Astonish. When it evolves into Therissor, it keeps that attack stat but gains a detrimental ability. Not until you get it fully evolved do you get to use it to its fullest advantage.

Playstic I want to evolve but haven't quite thought up a design yet.

Plastic Type: (Add in the Wood type I've made and there's now an even 20 types in my region)

Justification: So the idea behind the Plastic type is to represent an artificiality. So we can be loose with the definition. Pokemon that inhabit this type don't need to be literal plastic. They just need to represent something unnatural/artificial. Rubber/Latex/Vinyl/Oil can all fall under the umbrella of the Plastic type as well.

Type Chart: It was a bit difficult making the type chart as I had to leave out some rather obvious type matchups for the sake of game balance. So although Fire should beat it, it also beats my Wood type and I don't want any one type beating out 6 types. So I compromised with it just being resisted by Fire. I made it weak to Ice since frozen temperatures can cause rubber and plastic to become brittle and weak. I made it weak to Bug as another user pointed out that there are bugs/worms that can eat and digest plastic. Bug could also use a boost. Last weakness is a Hear Me Out. Have it be weak to Normal as a commentary on the real authentic deal beating the cheap knockoff. Plastic is meant to be the "fake/imitation" type. Plastic is super effective against Fairy for the same reasons Poison and Steel are, being industrial unnatural substances harmful to nature. It also beats Electric as it's an insulator and can disrupt currents.

Changed Pokemon:

Wynaut line is now Psychic/Plastic as their false bodies represent the fakeness of the type well.

Trubbish line is self-explanatory.

Bellibolt (not Tadbulb) has an elastic rubbery body and is adorned with fake eyes, so Plastic seems fitting.

Porygon is a Hear Me Out. Although not made of plastic, it is a completely manmade artificial Pokemon. I've opted to replace its Normal type instead of tacking the Plastic onto it. I did this because Porygon is only "normal" as it's a miscellaneous placeholder as Normal is also the stand-in type for Pokemon that don't really have a fitting type. Giving Porygon the Plastic type means that it has a type and therefore has no reason to be Normal since nothing about that bird is normal. Does my logic make sense?

Glameow I'm considering changing to Normal/Plastic as its tail is fairly artificial looking, and it is very much an indoor cat so I feel like it'll be fitting. Also it'll further differentiate it from Persian and Delcatty. I am hesitant to slap the Plastic typing onto something just because it has an unnatural looking appendage as that'll make half of all Pokemon contenders. But Glameow I can see working. I imagine its fur feeling like felt and the tail having a stiffness like a cat toy with a nylon rod for structure.
