Victory Road is composed of an area of badlands, connecting caves and lava pools.
Here in the badlands areas we find a pair of single stage Fakemon. Banzayena is a Fighting type with good Attack and usable Speed. Scrappy lets it rage on fighting even through Ghost types while Moxie amps Banzayena up as the fight drags on.
Paired with Banzayena is its rival Discourion. This Normal/Steel cowardly lion has big stats to back up its hideous typing. With abilities of Wimpout and Soundproof, players need to develop a specific strategy to get the most out of this Fakemon.
Finally we have a 3 stage that is the region's pseudolegendary. In its first stage, Hopling is a Bug/Dragon with an unimpressive statline. Evolving late to Hopliege sees an upgrade to usable stats, while the final evolution of Hoplieder has a classic pseudo statline with overwhelming offenses and passable bulk. With Compound Eyes you can drop Draco Meteors with confidence and Tinted Lens ensures that nothing is standing up to this pseudolegend.
