Hey all! Relatively new to the community. I collected when I was kid during the base set, jungle/fossil, gym hero years. I stopped probably around 3rd grade. Now here I am 33 with three kids ages 1,3, and 5. My two oldest found my old cards a couple years back and ever since then I got back into collecting with them. It has brought me so much joy getting to share this thing from childhood that I did, and quite honestly did not think I’d have so much fun collecting shiny cardboard in my 30s.
Any way just wanted to stop by and show you my binder that I started since I started collecting again. What got you into collecting? I got back into because I think the art on the cards are really cool, and my kids re-ignited the fire I had for collecting. Who’s your favorite pokemon? Mines Urshifu, I think they are an extremely underrated pokemon with some of the best art cards. Some of these cards in my collection I bought, and some I pulled. On a cool note I just pulled the Squirtle from two stellar crown packs I bought at my local grocery store today. And my wife pulled Lillie’s Clefairy from a mega charizard tin that had one pack of Journey Together in it.
