I’m in the market for this Gengar card as I pulled the English one, and just want another to put in my Ascended Heroes set as a cost effective place holder since mine is going for grading.
This card should be selling for atleast $300-400, but there are mass amounts of listings that all use the same photos, all come from accounts that were created in the last week or so, and are sold at an amount to avoid authentication. That being said, what’s the angle here? To tank the value? Surely a new account won’t be able to cash out anything until delivery and positive feedback is received , or atleast enough time passes after confirmed delivery that there must not have been any issues.
It’s just making it super hard to find what I want, and makes me hesitant to pay higher prices, when the value is clearly going to drop since those scammy listings are actually getting sales..
