I don’t care if the game is overpriced and should’ve come to the 3DS for 9.99. We finally got one of the GBA classics on an official platform and I’ve had so much fun so far.
Got my girlfriend to buy Leaf Green so I will be completing the Kanto dex (something I’ve never had the patience to do as a child, despite having all games and a link cable). Trading has also enabled me to build a fun team, with a mix of meta picks and surprisingly effective pokemon (Double Edge Kangaskan).
Playing on Battle Mode: Set makes this surprisingly challenging. Forgot to save after Lance and expected a Pidgeot first from rival, so had to really come in clutch to make up for it, with the goat Kangaskan being my last survivor 🐐
