Gen 10 Starters Final Evolution Theory (Garuda / Barong / Naga Inspired)
So after looking at a lot of fan designs and regional inspiration, I think the Gen 10 starters could go in a Southeast Asian mythological direction and honestly it fits perfectly
Here’s my full theory
🌿 ⚙️ Browt Grass/Steel (Garuda inspired)
I can see Browt evolving into a majestic forest guardian bird inspired by Garuda
STAGE 2 – It becomes leaner and taller, Grows full wings, Leaf eyebrows become sharper and small crest of leaves starts forming on its head, Legs become raptor like longer and stronger claws, Fluffy chest being to look like bark plating.
Leaves and Feathers are rigid and sharper
STAGE 3 – A Large Metallic Hawk, Massive wings made of blade like metallic leaves, Armor like chest with leaf shaped steel plating, Crown/crest made of branches + metal and Tail spreads like a fan of metallic leaves.
Browt’s sharp brows and serious nature hint at Steel typing. It lives in mineral rich forests, Maintains iron rich diet and absorbs minerals directly from tree roots gains the typing. Bio Metal fused with leaves and branches.
🔥✨ Pombon Fire/Fairy (Barong inspired)
STAGE 2 – Slightly bigger, Fur becomes longer and fluffier, Flame on head spreads into flowing flame tuft, Eyes become more expressive and magical, Markings appear on body like spiritual symbols, The red underside of its paws expands to look like socks.
STAGE 3 – Evolves into a Majestic guardian Lion like Dog Powerful presence, Long fangs jutting out of its mouth, Gold Pink Flames on its soles, Thick fluffy mane that looks like flowing magical flames that forms a mask like face when viewed from the front, Flame patterns on its body almost like a ritual design, and Tail like a flame plume.
Pombon protects its surroundings and people. It dances in festivals and gains a Fairy typing through its friendship and bond with humans. Its flames drive away the darkness.
🌊🐉 Gecqua Water/Dragon (Naga inspired)
Mythical Sea Serpent Dragon
STAGE 2 – Develops more snake like face, Body and Tail becomes longer and more streamlined, starts forming fins, Small horn nubs on head, Skin becomes smoother, Eyes sharper more focused.
STAGE 3 – A long serpentine dragon body, Smooth blue scales with wave like patterns, Fins along body like waves, Tail shaped like a tidal blade, Dragon snout with whiskers and horns, Lost its legs but retains small draconic arms, A water orb/pearl between its Horns, A calm but powerful expression.
Natural evolution Gecko -> Snake -> Dragon. Lineage linked to ancient Dragon spirits.
ALTERNATIVE IDEA: Browt could also go Grass/Electric and Gecqua Water/Poison
🌿⚡️Browt (Grass/Electric)
STAGE 2 – Body becomes more raptor like, Leaf eyebrows grow longer start splitting into thin vein like strands, Wings form with flat leaf panels, Tail develops small bud like nodes, Feet look slightly sharper.
STAGE 3 – A Storm Hawk crackling with lightining, Broad leafy wings glowing with Electric veins, Feathers look like solar panel layered like leaves, Long elegent Feathery crest acts as lightning rod, Split Tails looks like Leafy whip, Lightning travels through veins like circuits.
Photosynthesis -> Solar Energy -> Electricity. Energy overload converts to electricity Becomes a living bio generator.
🌊 ☠️ Gecqua (Water/Poison)
STAGE 2 – Same snake like face, Longer Body/Tail, Skin turns slightly darker blue with purple undertones, Eyes sharper more cunning, Skin secretes slimy layer, Subtle toxic sacs appear near neck.
STAGE 3 – Long serpentine body, Head fins looks like Snake Hood, Slightly rough scales, Darker blue base with Purple highlights, Narrow slightly sinister eyes, Fangs with Toxic saliva/venom, Glowing poison veins and Tail Dripping toxin/acid like water.
Snake Komodo Dragon inspired Lives in stagnant/swampy water, Evolves toxin production for hunting, Water attacks infused with venom.
Stealthy dangerous swamp predator
FINAL ANALYSIS
If Browt Grass/Steel, Pombon Fire/Fairy, Gecqua Water/Dragon
Yes Pombon looks one sided
Fire > Steel (beats Browt) Fairy > Dragon (beats Gecqua)
But
Browt Steel Strong against Fairy
Gecqua still beats Pombon Water > Fire
Browt Steel resists Dragon pressures Gecqua.
So yes its not a perfect triangle but still can be balanced with stats/Moves
If Browt = Grass/Electric and Gecqua = Water/Poison
Browt beats Gecqua Steel Resists Poison
Pombon beats Browt (Fire > Grass)
Gecqua beats Pombon (Water/Poison > Fire/Fairy).
And For those who are saying they would look nothing like their base forms
That’s the whole point of evolution the final forms are meant to look more matured and transformed not just bigger versions of the baby form
And Garuda, Barong and Naga doesn't mean literal Garuda cleaving the sky or Leviathan splitting the ocean they are just inspirations
Gecqua a sea dragon like Gyrados or Dragonair
Browt a 6.3 feet tall metallic/storm hawk
Final evolutions are supposed to feel like this is what the Pokémon becomes at its peak so some level of drastic change is actually expected.
