Giving them the same ability as Mega Alakazam with lower statistics boils down to making it a discount version of it not interesting to play, and that's pissing me off.
I was so happy to see Meowstic obtain a mega form with insane chara-design and dex description that describing it like a demi god that can compress or expand what it want and contorting space, all of this just for making him the the most useless mega Pokémon since it's just a low-cost version of another one, and being even more underestimated than before.
It's just a game but I needed to let out my frustration of seeing one of my favorite mon being criticized in future years because of that stupid decision making it uninteresting ingame.
Thanks to that guys at Game Freak who decided that.
