The movies budget was $110 million, for comparsion Demon Slayer infinity Castle grossed $800 million and had a budget of $20 million. Demon Slayer was the highest grossing anime movie of all time so pretty good numbers for Mario movie.

I just hope Hollywood doesn’t learn all the wrong lessons here. I liked the Mario Galaxy movie, don’t get me wrong. But when you remove the nostalgia member berries, it has no concrete plot. The story is all over the place.
And I hate the whole, “it’s a kids movie,” argument…. they deserve better. When we were kids, we got better. It’s perfectly possible to make a movie for everyone. And honestly, Mario is for everyone, so the movies should reflect that in more than just member berries for nostalgia points.

It’s April …. Headline sounds so final

I’d assume it’s not done yet either. I’d like to go see it again in theaters, if I have a chance.

It did this with a chorus of grumbling critics calling it slop. Kids don’t care.
