I always knew I had my Gold Star Mudkip from Team Rocket Returns, but I just realized I somehow kept the original packs I opened it from back in ‘04/‘05. They were in a box with some a whole bunch of of commons from that era (delta species, unseen forces, expedition, ect)
I was 14, didn’t understand what a Gold Star even was, and honestly thought Mudkip was just a holo common because I grew up on Base Set.
Two decades later they are reunited
