Grunt battles are one of the areas of PGo I’ve always loved and ripped heavy. I have defeated over 4,800 grunts (which isn’t ground breaking or legendary but I do this stuff a lot), and up until last week I had 1 shiny shadow to show for it.
That all changed in the last 8 days… I’ve caught TWO shiny shadow mons.. this is an UNBELIEVABLE anomaly and I am just counting my stars that my current RNG is so high. Especially since I haven’t done a ridiculous number of battles in these last 8 days maybe 10-15 total….
I was astonished yesterday walking out of my house as I see Litwick go shiny after defeating a fire grunt. I could not believe my luck and didn’t even appraise her I was so happy to simply get the shadow shiny again just days after getting my second ever.
Later in the day I’m at the bar watching The Masters telling a buddy how lucky I am.. and we appraise her…. She’s 13/14/13…..!!!!!! For context I’m a hundo hunter first and foremost. I HUNT the 4* mons. So when its IVs popped I legit jumped out of my seat. Needless to say I purified her for my 5th Shundo and just felt like I had to spread the positivity. Do some grunt battles today, either they messed up/ drastically increased the shiny grunt chance or I am the luckiest PGo player of the last 10 days. Cheers
