Hopefully now that vgc has moved to champions that the mainline games are able to have move animations like sword and shield without the worry of them being “too long”

Games like this is a big turn off for me because it's just competitive battling and nothing more which is very boring. What makes Pokemon games good is the story, no story is a bad pokemon game. There is no plot, no evolving world state. Not to mention pokemon and players look like plastic models game looks terrible.
This reminds me so much of Wolfe’s old content back in Sword in shield when it was so much more casual. We’ve come such a long way.
