Do the Main Character(s) from Pokemon Stadium Games have Cannon Names?

This is one of the things I think about more than I should honestly haha (we know that "Wes" is the character name for "Pokemon Colosseum" and "Michael" for "Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness") but other than those, the naming pattern usually follow the game's title (e.g. Red, Gold, Ruby, etc) – this is also seen in Pokemon Adventures.

But does this mean their name is "Stadium"?
or "Stad" and "Ium"? (or "Kyūjō"? which is Stadium in Japanese)

I might be missing something there, so I wanted to hear your opinions and thoughts on this matter!
