You messed up when the mega bosses shield pops up you don't have to switch to your mega the game does it for you.

If I’m not mistaken one will be significantly stronger than the other for pogo specifically so letting people pick would just make everyone pick the stronger one?
There's some factors that will determine if I even go after mega Mewtwo so I'm just going to hold off until all the details are released then decide
be like every other event where ticket holders gain enough energy to do the one we pick for free and then have to raid for the other

Hi I’m Pokémon go to get mega mewtwo it be like do 10 mega raids,catch 10 mewtwo,and do 3 gmax raids and finally for go fest global mega zera ore with thunder clap or mega lucario z scopleys ecuese(to balance the game or keep Pokemon gos players keep playing Pokemon go.)
I think Mega Mewto will be in the Go Fest finale. Mewtwo will just be at the rais so you can get a good one and cany. There is 1 special raid at the end of GoFest session. I think that will be Zygarde shiny or Mega.
What if they introduce a new thing like 2 types of mega energy for Mewtwo, that would be bad but just saying, I want it to be like Charizard you should be able to choose the mega evolution.

I can definitely see them doing something like Rayquaza, maybe a special item like the Bezerk Gene.
Most likely super duper mega raids with 50 people to take it down with minimum 30 people requiring mega evolved Pokemon. Will need 5000 mega energy of each x energy or y energy to mega evolve it for first time. Level 4 mega requiring 10000 energy to unlock 😮😂

Finally after 9 years of playing I'm finally going to an in person GO Fest Event Chicago and I'll be picking Mega Mewtwo y!
Gonne need to be medicated when doing those Super Mega Mewtwo raids. People are going to test our patience if they can't get with the program yet and bring in megas as their first mons or wrong mons to use. 😂

I wonder if they would change Mega Energy into X, Y, and Z that makes no easy to Mega Evolve without same Mega Energy
My guess is both mewtwo x & y will require separate mega energy as in you'll need to do Mewtwo Y raids for Mega Y energy and Mewtwo X raids for X energy and the tracks will lead to the corresponding energy and a Mewtwo encounter
the track might be lead to a having different adventure effects , once you mega Y you get the mega Y effect , the 1st mega form you choose will stay forever
mewtwo x would be a crazy fighting type if it gets low kick for a fast move. can also learn aura sphere as a better fighting charge move too
Maybe like eternatus but for raids instead of dynamax, ie you only get energy from raids
Poke_ak, I don't think they'll give us Mega Mewtwo for GO Fest, instead I'm thinking they'll do another GO Fest Rewind Event like last year with Eternatus and make us spend $1K+ on both X and Y Forms of Mega Mewtwo.
Honestly, I think it would be best if it was just like Charizard where you can make it evolve either one X or Y I feel like that option has been totally overlooked these last couple of months
