Remote trade is now available in Pokemon Go. However, we will need to follow some steps before we can even do the trade. One of which is to tag Pokemon to offer to our forever friends. This is how to tag the Pokemon to prepare for the trades.

I became forever friends with a trainer about a week ago and we were already lucky friends. They send gifts daily and open them but still don't have anything tagged for remote trade up to this point 😢

You forgot the important ones. Regionals!! Ones you can’t specifically get in your region Oricorio. Galarian Legendary birds/Shiny versions. Those who don’t do routes, or just don’t have time due to work conflicts/work commitments timing is key. Palkia and Dialga Origin forms ( Spacial Rend & Roar of Time ) – Adventure Effects Hundo and Shundo versions.
Got three forever friends first guy still hasn’t tagged anything second guy had no shiny legendaries mainly non shiny legandarys and costume pikachu and third dude has four shiny Pokémon tagged beedrill, galar rappidash steelix and garbodor meanwhile I have 200+ shinys and rare Pokémon tagged 😂
Remote trades are the main feature I’m focusing on right now. I’ve completed 23 so far and I’m addicted. I’ve finished my shiny oricorio line, received my first location background, received my first shiny mewtwo which was a goku bad, and a shundo ray. I’m a rural player so I wouldn’t ever have acquired these mons if this feature was never introduced.
It’s crazy how many I’ve seen with either no pokemon tagged or random kanto pokemon and that’s it
i have been having issues with friends that dont even have a single pokemon tagged for trade. so you telling me we spent nearly 90 days opening sending gifts. for you to not have a single pokemon that you want to trade? how selfish. they need to make it mandatory to download campfire before even ALLOWING players to send gifts or open them. otherwise. there is no clear communication and way to contact around the world players. so in my case. i am 0/7 on remote trades due to lack of communication / non tagged mons. thanks for wasting my 90 days pogo players. thanks….

Thanks for mentioning me, Brandon. Couple things to add:
1. You can long press the Pokemon to see what move it has and details of when + where it caught. Just like how you check the moves when you fight rockets, raids & gyms. If you want Pokemon that have special moves, you can check it that way.
2. There’s a timer if you add anything less than 30 days and it will appear to your forever friends that when they will be available for remote trades
If people can't figure this out when pogo basically shoves it in your face they have no business playing 🫡
I have 15 friends whom i can't remote with and none of them have tagged anything, changed de name of my buddy to "pls remote" "tag 4 trade pls", i also dm'd every1 on campfire and 3 weeks later nothing changed, hope people will push this video so everyone can learn

What a disappointment remote trading is. Rarely is anyone on Campfire, Most of my lucky remote friends have nothing tagged.
The biggest surprise was a new lucky forever friend in Japan, level 78 (so she needs lucky trades), whose name translates to 'I love Shinies' and she has nothing tagged. Unbelievable.
