I know Amazon has a tendency for counterfeit/bait&switches but the game just game out, PSA to anyone trying to collect physical copies. This is the most convincing reseal I’ve seen, I imagine it’ll only get more sophisticated on Amazon.
It said shipped & sold by Amazon so I thought I was safe, I bought it like a week after the release date.
Left is the Amazon copy, you can see the washed out colors, loss of sharper details, and even the inner case graphic is missing. Also it has a bad “factory seal” and a LPN label attached.
Right is a genuine (hopefully lol) floor copy from Gamestop, came without a factory seal. Unrelated but it’s interesting how when I open a game it’s “used” but when Gamestop opens it then it’s still “new”.
