I miss how the Mega Stones used to be seen.

I really miss that part of Mega Evolution. It was cool seeing what the Pokemon wore, with the Mega Stone, and so cool that the Mega Stone and the corresponding accessory to melt away. Now, the Mega Stone awkwardly floats in front from out of nowhere. I just miss that part of Mega Evolution. Am I the only one to miss it?
