So Nintendo is managing its software well then it seems. Glad they’re ahead of the game

This and previous Engage news makes me think maybe Fortunes Weave is also already finished and just waiting for whatever release they happened to decide.

I don’t think this means it was finished a year ago.
You can gain an age rating before a game is complete.

You do know that they need to finish those ratings months in advance?

It wasn’t done a year ago. It was **feature complete** a year ago. There is a huge difference between the two states.

This is nothing new for Nintendo, the tend to sit on finished games and release them when they feel like it’s the right time, not as soon as they are finished.
Metroid Prime Remastered and Fire Emblem Engage were both finished around a year and a half before they actually got released.

Nintendo tends to sit on finished games, it’s a great sign of healthy development that they don’t need to rush games out the door.
Many of Nintendos games on switch including tomodachi life didn’t have any day 1 patches, the latest version was already on cart at launch. Some games like Princess peach showtime, Metroid prime remastered or Luigi’s mansion 2 HD have never received a patch to this day, still on 1.0.0.
