you have to delete the save using 3rd party equipment like a ds power saves or that one 3ds homebrew app to do a complete cart wipe. to do the heatran mission again. i've done this to get manaphy more then once. i'm pretty sure it's the same for all event missions. doing a full data wipe using the button combo to wipe all save data doesn't work because that data from the event is still present for that mission. so just saying this so people don't have to go hunting those old carts aren't necessary. hopefully this helps anyone interested in doing this event multiple times.
I never beat my copy of ranger or ranger shadows almia so I could get heatran and manaphy but that involves getting good and destroying my 3ds bottom screen calibration

i never did that mission. didnt realize it was so valuable as i dont play comp only do some light shiny hunting

What? Old moves are deleted if no longer supported in new gen. This would have 0 value.

Eruption heatran is like it’s fourth best OU set, why bother trying to go for that outside of maybe on a sun team
Due to the changes made to Pokémon move data, alongside Dexit in generation 8, this is no longer necessary. If a Pokémon cannot learn a move within that game, it simply cannot use it, evening the playing field, though making those special pokemon a bit less special.
Heatran actually cannot use eruption anymore due to this change
Won't matter anymore as either they will let all heatrans learn eruption in champions or none.
