Leaf Green was my first-ever Pokémon game, and my first-ever introduction to the wonderful world of Nintendo. So, re-playing it and beating the Pokémon League again after 20+ years feels very much like a full-circle moment for me. My eyes were literally wet as the end credits rolled! 😅🥹
✅️ Omastar had Water Pulse, Surf, Bite, and Rock Smash
✅️ Zapdos had Thunder, Drill Peck, Agility, and Detect (switched-out at the last minute for Hypno who had Psychic, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, and Brick Break)
✅️ Ninetales had Flamethrower, Will-o-Wisp, Dig, and Return
✅️ Venomoth had Psybeam, Gust, Sleep Powder, and Stun Spore
✅️ Dodrio had Fly, Drill Peck, Steel Wing, and Pursuit
✅️ Venusaur had Earthquake, Razor Leaf, Strength, and Cut
I actually had a hard time with Lorelei already that I though that I was underlevelled. So I was surprised to breeze-through everyone, KO-ing Lance's team (except for the Dragonairs and Dragonite) and my rival's team (except Charizard). Plus, my player name is Peaches, and I named my rival Yams, so I think that was amazing prescience! 🤣
