Gmax Venusaur returns this Saturday!
Venusaur is currently the 2nd best Grass type attacker in Max battles & a great tank vs Grass moves. Venusaur has 3 weaknesses from its Grass typing (Flying, Ice & Fire) & 1 from its poison typing (Psychic).
Venusaur has 5 charge moves, 3 Grass & 2 Poison type (Frenzy Plant, Petal Blizzard & Sludge Bomb has 2.5s cooldown; Sludge has 2s; Solar Beam has 5s), they are all either 1x or 2x resisted by our available Steel type tanks. Though its relatively slow, Solar Beam is an absolute nuke & threaten even inadequately levelled steel type tanks.
(On the infographic, each featured pokemon have 2 most damaging (left side) & 2 least damaging (right) boss moves on them listed at the bottom of their panel, moves inside Red β Can absorb a hit, Orange β 2 hits, Yellow segment β 3+ hits can be absorbed and so on. This colour coding is done having Venusaur at 0.85CPM & 1 Attack Multiplier.)
π Gmax Cinderace is our top Attacker closely followed by Gmax Charizard. Dmax Alakazam & Latios are superior to the 2 Gmax options on WINDY weather.
π Blissey is a top Tank & Healer (another good option being Snorlax). Zamazenta is the best Tank vs all 5 boss moves. Dmax Corviknight & Duraludon 2x resists all the boss moves, great tanks. Charizard can double duty as a tank vs Grass moves.
Other than the listed PokΓ©mon,
π Dmax Metagross(7th) with Zen Headbutt, Moltres(8th) with Fire Spin(SUNNY)/Wing Attack(WINDY) are Tier 2 attackers.
π Gmax/Dmax Venusaur vs Grass moves, Metagross with Fury cutter/Shadow Claw, Dynamax Ho-Oh & Lugia (only for catching) are good specialist tanks.
All the Best! ππ
