Was talking to a kind person yesterday and gave me some inspiration to share what I believe to be some of the coolest cards they've ever made. The Delta Species. I don't have Black Charizard or Shiny Mew, or even the binder completed but, I don't care. It's very close to done and the most complete collection of these I've ever seen. And it's mine. 🙂
Few years ago I finally was able to collect probably 90% of these from card shows. I was known by some vendors for how often I went to shows, they thought it was so cool I was going after them and purposely even got more hoping I'd be at the next one so they could help me out. Some of the cards here are also from my childhood and were pulled myself. I have always wanted to collect these cards. I wanted to do it mostly in person finds too.
Some notable mentions.
The Fire Mew is the rarer one with a corrected back. I saw it in a LCS for weeks and finally bought it for $60. didn't learn until later I actually stumbled into the more expensive one.
Blastoise bothers me. Both Pre-Evolutions are not electrics, unsure what to do there. Marill is the same deal like Gloom. Whyyyyy in the very middle of an evo line???
The dang Eeveelutions. I had all of them besides Flareon for MONTHS, nearly a year! I kept seeing the reverse one and I wanted them all to match just being Holo. Drove me crazy. Flareon of all things.
My favorite of them all is probably Electric Gyrados!
