What are these things even exists for??

I am not an old player nor a new player, but I started a new account over my old account as it was bricked to the point of not able to progress with the raids or anything. Now I'm confused whether these even worth anything when it comes to trading them away for something else since I believe it appeared for everybody. So I actually wonder what's its actual value or is it just pure poop. Yes, I will trade anything for getting rid of these ballsacs
