Is it only me or do y’all check DIs before making a team?

I always try to make a team which has least or no weakness(or balances if I can achieve that). By far this has been my strongest team with 1 weakness and 1 balance and I had made a team in heartgold with 0 weakness but 9 balances. Do any of y'all do this? Btw the team is

1. With Venusaur : Greninja, Venusaur, Garchomp, Dedenne, Mawile, Talonflame

2. With Charizard : Greninja, Charizard, Ferrothorn, Garchomp, Mawile, Dedenne.

I'll keep bibarel as hm slave in place of dedenne which was by far the best I could do with DIs and will keep dedenne again in major battles.
