Why didn’t the transfer count?

I have this quest to “Transfer 5 Pokemon”, but despite sending 6 mons to Home, nothing happened. Maybe I did it wrong?

Here is what I did:

I tapped on settings

I selected “Connected Devices and Services "

I selected “Pokémon Home”

I selected “send Pokemon”

Then I sent 6 Pokemon (two batches of three)

But no progress to me quest? If that isn't what it means by “transfering” then what does it mean?
