I love this! I was trying to think of a name pun on Coven but I couldn’t.
This is awesome though! I like that it can still use No Retreat but as a Special Attacker now.
The origin to this Pokemon is a fusion between Falinks, Charizard, Braixen, Delphox. I’m a huge nerd for magic sorcery. I based it off small group of mages that got into dragon power magic. The leader wearing a hat and eyes color is based off from Vivi from Final Fantasy ix. I wanted to combine that with dragon magic. Like a Dragonborn Sorcerer from DnD. Interesting fact, the leader is holding the stick like Delphox while the rest hold the stick like Braixen. (Well I least I seen pictures of them how they hold their sticks.) The tail and feet are from Charizard.
And their Mega are them standing in a magic circle summoning dragon avatar
Mega idea: They all combine to make a dragon (instead of a man like normal Falinks)
also ability idea: all special attacks hit 5 extra times each for a much lower % of the original damage without the side effects (so you won’t get -6 sp attack for using Draco meteor/overheat once)

I’d probably change the colours, almost all regional forms and convergent species have noticably different colour-palettes from their basis to help separate them more.

What about Merlinks (from Merlin)? I know he’s a wizard, but it flows pretty well
I really like this idea, but I would personally remove the dragon stuff and make it a fire/fairy type to lean more into the magic
