Hatch events are a scam to sell incubators for 2km eggs. Every event pogo has they make it worse the next time they release that type of event.
I got 4 shinies in 83 eggs so I'm happy with my results

150 hatched eggs, 13km walked… 0 hundos 0 shundos, 1 was 98% everything else was below 557 cp
I got my first natural shundo, I feel bad for everyone that didn't get what they wanted but I am pretty excited
Bugged but inventory was not full. 5 shinies off of 26 eggs, (so many people saying hatch events are never worth it so I only played the last 2 hours really casually.) no hundos.
I wanted to ask if there is any special trick for gps drifting as sometimes it stops happening to me and stays like that for quite a while, also yeah, I also faced issues as the eggs just remained stuck, just hatched quite less amount of eggs, also had quite a lot storage
I got 24 shinies out of 146 eggs. Hatched 4 in a row as well. Got 15/14/15 shiny and 15/14/14 shiny
Feeling bad for the peeps writing here that they didn't get any shinies at all, but it's mathematically unlikely to not get any shiny out of 20-50 eggs, since the shiny rate was 1/10. Which means:
– 65% probability to hatch 1 shiny in 10 hatches
– 88% probability to get a shiny in 20 hatches
– 99.5% probability to get a shiny in 50 hatches

I hatched 9 yesterday and got 3 shiny, I still have 8 more eggs to hatch but am taking my time. No hundo or shundo yet. I also did not have the egg glitch, my wife did, her bag and pokemon inventory both had room yet her egg refused to hatch. We are still not sure when it finally hatched as it was still at its kms when the event eneded and hadn't hatched. Today its showing as hatched.

No issues for this event. I already had a hundo from a few years ago, but I did not get one this time around. I did hatch 5 shiny though, which was new new for me. Pretty pleased with the event over all.

I have heard people saying that they mess up on purpose just for the simple fact that they can make even more money on a makeup event using the same assets and people buying incubators or passes again to play the makeup event.
Regarding egg hatching in Pokémon GO, reducing the required walking distance would already be a meaningful improvement for many players. If possible, adding the option to remove or replace unwanted eggs would also greatly improve the experience and reduce frustration.
As a player with physical disabilities, I would also like to suggest a more accessible movement alternative for eligible users who are unable to physically walk long distances. One possible solution could be a verified movement assist feature, such as a joystick or accessibility tool, available only to approved accounts.
To help ensure fair use, verification could be limited to one account per device and require appropriate disability verification, such as a recognized disability parking permit or similar official documentation, along with identity confirmation. The goal would be to balance accessibility with preventing misuse, while still protecting user privacy.
Activation of such a feature could also include additional safeguards, such as periodic re-verification or approval through official support channels or staff at major events, depending on what is most practical.
Overall, these changes would make the game significantly more inclusive while maintaining fairness and the core spirit of exploration.

I've been having trouble still with hatching eggs even before the event started. Inventory was not full.
I hatched around 24 eggs and got one riolu at 10/10/10 sad event:(
I had sticky tracking and didn't get a single Riolu even though I completely loaded my incubators during the event.
I played almost the whole event finished at 4. I hatched 10 shinies abd finally got a hundo and a shiny 98. I kinda skipped it last time so glad i was actually able to do this. I had so many incubators stacked up so was good to use them
