I’ve never played Gen 5, but what was your reaction to finding nothing but “new”Pokémon when you played black & white for the first time?

When I was a kid, when I only got expose to Pokemon from the anime, unova always felt weirdly unfamiliar to me, doesn’t help that there’s many Gen 5 mons that are basically rebooted versions of Gen 1 mons. But when I find out that Unova was meant to be a soft reboot, it all made sense to me now.
