Remote Trade “Unregistered Pokemon” is still not quite correct (misses shiny forms)

I have two persistent problems with viewing friends’ remote trade lists:

1. Sometimes the “show unregistered Pokemon” checkbox just shows nothing, even when there are Pokemon I don’t have (and they do have the icon marking them as such). Typing something in the search then deleting fixes this temporarily.
2. Once the above works, it still doesn’t show shinies you don’t have, that you do have the alternate form for it. In this example I have shiny Galarian Farfetch’d but the icon isn’t shown for Farfetch’d. It happens with Unown and Oricorio too.

I imagine the latter issue is related to forms being counted for the shiny dex? My Pokedex shiny tab shows Farfetch’d as completed.

So maybe this is something they can’t or won’t fix – in which case take this as a PSA to manually check for any shiny forms you are interested in.
