I’m making a 3D Pokémon fangame



Hello everyone!

I’m currently making a prototype for a Pokémon fangame, and I’ve been working on it for about a month. I’d love to hear any suggestions or ideas for mechanics you would like to see.

I’m doing this just for fun, and unfortunately I don’t plan to release it.

For now, the game is still full of bugs, but here’s what I’ve already implemented:

A battle system that is almost on par with the mainline games (status conditions, abilities, natures, IVs, EVs, held items)

Pokémon randomness (IVs, abilities, nature, size, level, gender, held item)

Party system

Boxes

Inventory

Pokédex

Localization (Italian and English)

Evolutions

Items

Trainer battles

NPCs

Quest system

Dialogue system

A mechanic for riding Pokémon

Pokémon nests (something similar to Monster Hunter Stories dens, where you can control your Pokémon to retrieve rare or special eggs)

Fishing mechanic
