A naive dream suspended in time: I fleetingly thought of this a few days ago while looking at the clear sky and my mind wandered to Pokémon, a series that I believe has accompanied the childhoods of many across generations. Even though it has had its fair share of fumbles recently, a few small gems continue to shine in a cosmos of uncertainty.
For me, this "light" is represented by Sada and Turo, two characters about whom I unfortunately can't say much to avoid spoilers, but whom I found extremely intriguing. This attachment of mine is likely due to my passion for research, or to the theme of their story, which links past and future, or even to the feeling of adventure that echoes Jules Verne's "Journey to the Center of the Earth".
I therefore wanted to pay homage to these two future pioneers, immortalising them in time at the beginning of everything, on a faded page, when their treasure was still fragile and reaching that paradise seemed almost…a paradox.
