Mobile gaming has made tremendous leaps and is no longer an excuse for poor graphics
Also it’s not like Pokemon’s console-only games have received better attention
That’s fine, but in return they have to accept limited numbers of players being interested in it too.
The game may be ugly, but hey at least there’s only one arena! So no risk of any variety. And the cosmetics are so ugly, unfitting, and generic that you luckily won’t feel the need to spend any money.
Always look on the bright side!
Then why did you guys reveal the game so early
It’s because it has a Switch 1 version, what’s not clicking for people here
It’s a Switch 2, in the HD era, but nope, still “limitations”
I wonder if Champions and Winds and Waves were being developed at the same time? Or at least a fair-bit of overlap?
It’d make sense that the mainline game would be prioritized over Champions, and that Hoshino wouldn’t want to throw his colleagues under the bus by naming names.
Cough.. cough.. Metroid Prime 4 Beyond…. cough
I think Champions looks fine. It does what it needs to do.
I think the basic crowd looks bad but that’s more of a nitpick.
Iphone 6 with ios 15 is still supported by apple, the game is coming to mobile and if they want the biggest potential consumer base they need to decide how far back they want to go for what hardware and software they want supported.
Those limitations are an entire team of incompetent developers.
Do people really not understand that lower powered phones being able to play the game too is a good thing? Also, if it doesn’t eat power as much then you can play longer and not have to charge your phone after 2 hours.
I think the graphics are good enough, and there is nothing to be changed.
The limitations being TPC cheaping out
It’s a problem sure, but can we be surprised? I mean, it’s not Game Freak who done it(which would not be a true sign of quality either) but worse, ILCA.
half of the problem is one of art direction, there arent excuses here it’s a matter of taste
Why are graphics of concern in the free game made for competitive play?
Do the people actually playing Pokémon Champions actually care?
“Limitations” means you create art assets with multiple levels of detail. PC game devs were doing this 30 years ago.
Don’t you guys have phones?
