This is a legitimate question. Jessie, James and Meownth screw themselves over and over again for this one specific Pikachu that Giovanni wants so much for some reason but…. why? Couldn't they go to Viridian Forest and just catch a Pikachu and call it a day? I never understood what Giovanni say in this specific individual that made it so special.
