Is this a factory crimp or did I got scammed?

Recently got this in a card show, for context I’m mastersetting surging, so when I saw this I thought it will look cool in my master set and didn’t think much about it. I paid market.

Once I got back home and looked into crimped card, I saw a YouTube video saying this can be easily replicated. So I wonder if this is factory?
The crimp is uneven which doesn’t help the case, but surely there’s no benefit from the financial side to crimp such a card like this?
