I recently sold my Ascended Heroes pokemon center ETB on ebay. When I shipped it, I literally opened the box of two that I had that was sealed, inspected it top to bottom, double wrapped it in bubble wrap, & sent it in a perfectly sized box with packing paper all around it. The box was not ripped and never sat unattended in my posession.
The buyer has had the item for 6 days now & today I get a return request on eBay saying "the box was damaged, though it was packaged nicely so it must have been damaged prior to shipping" etc.
I cant see this thing getting a tear like this wrapped in bubble wrap. I intend on asking for photos of the packaging so gauge if he damaged it, or if he's trying to swap my item for an entirely different one. The amount of time he's had the thing open, though, is wild in this case. Its literally been sitting open in his posession for hundreds of times the amount of time it was open in my hands as it was still sealed from PC.
Wth do I do here? Just take the L? Do I have a leg to stand on? & are people really returning items over that size of imperfection in freaking plastic wrap anyway? Its like 1-2mm.
Anyways.. fml
