Mega Evolution has elongated Furret's already incredibly long body, tripling it in size. Its spine confounds engineers, biologists, and physiscits alike, with an elasticity and flexibility that belies its immense strength.
The potential energy stored within its coils gives Mega Furret enough strength to punch holes in the sides of mountains when released. Thankfully, Mega Furret's soft fur is fluffy enough to cushion its body from such impacts.

I adore Furret. He's just a lil' guy… that also happens to be VERY long. I wish the line would get somehting official but short of that, I'll just have to do it myself.
My current idea is that the mega can get huge power, effectively turning him into a 210 Base Attack absolute cannon. However, I can also see giving him a new special ability I'd call Spring Loaded. It would decrease priorty of any contact move M. Furret uses, but doubles the Base power. Essentially taking time to coil up before exploding out in force. I have no idea how well that would actually work as an ability and how I would need to redistribvute stats to make it work best (I imagine I'd have to take any boost to speed and instead put it into ATK, as wel as potentially up the defenses in some way) but I think it's an interesting idea. (other ideas for how Spring Loaded would work could include gaining a defense buff of some kind while 'coiled' until it uses the move to help it survive long enough to actually use the move, or allow it to break thorugh protect with contact moves akin to Unseen Fist, referncing the whole 'breaking mountains with the force of the spring in the dex entry.)
Of course, the line really could use a buff to its stats even before Mega evolution as some other mon have gotten over the years (it's BST normally is 415 for the love of God) but I think the ideas I have could still make it viable even with a Mega with a base stat total of just 515.
