I know probability is indifferent but I usually start expecting to see a shiny as I approach 200 seen so Drilbur and Abra are really busting my pokeballs. The only Pokémon I have over 200 encounters with and no shiny besides those were half-donkeyed community day sessions for scorbunny @223, sprigatito @212, and lechonk @233 seen.
What’s your record for most seen and no shiny encounter? I started in 2023 cuz I was working internationally in rural areas until then.
