It has been a gas replaying these games. I’d like to see more/the rest of the games

Have them both. Will buy all retro pokemon games day of release. Super fun to play again.

    Now can we get more?

I’m dying to play Black and White again….

The games are fine but I hate that such low effort is rewarded that well.

I can’t help but wonder how Scarlet & Violet became the second best selling in the franchise.

  6. Larielia

I’m hoping to buy those soon. I miss my GBA versions.

Cracks me up how many babies cried they weren’t buying them. I bet you dollars to donuts they bought them anyway

Good to hear, now can we have the rest please?

Since they are planning on Home connectivity, might as well just do RSE too since its the same gen

I wish they’d make it interact with the NSO Pokémon Stadium.

I hope this means there’s a chance of getting Soul Silver and Heart Gold.

  12. Can we boost the game speed at all? The original slow pace is why I usually play older pokemons on emulator

Reading this while playing leafgreen is crazy, hahaha. I’d love this game to get a bit more support than initially intended!!

I would like to be able to trade online with them lol, do you know badly I would love to play one of these games with a gengar, Alakazam or Machamp?!

I pray they bring back Pokemon Yellow. Most fun i had on a Pokémon game.

Sad. It’s a GBA rom with a few minor changes for $20.

and people still give gen1 and kanto shit. we need more pokemon games like these originals. no complicated world-ending story, no buddy buddy ‘rivals’, no numerous ‘rivals’, no 2-3 hour long tutorial and hand holding, no end of cutscene -> take 3 steps to enter a new cut scene. no “this is the legendary pokemon that no ones seen for generations! here you can have it 10 your old kid who just showed up to this region not even 10min ago and we all just met. the power of a god is ion your hands stanger!”

good old simple take down a crime syndicate while getting to the top of the world stage sporting event, and discovering all the mysterious creatures that inhabit the world.

I love these games, but I’m sad to see them be so successful at this price point.

These 22 year old games were sold for the same price they were 20 years ago. For me, in Canada, because our exchange rate with the US often informs our game prices, they were actually MORE expensive than the physical copies were in 2006.

Ten years ago, the Wii U virtual console sold GBA games for $7.99.

These days, a digital release of a GBA game should be like $5.00.

Again, I love Fire Red and Leaf Green, but I found the price of these games to be genuinely insulting.

And given the amount of work this type of release would take, a price that high is just pure greed.

Put HG/SS and that number will climb higher

nintendo could do this with all their games but they would rather shut down piracy without offering an alternative to give them money
