On Friday I went to visit my hometown and while I was grinding stardust to get the last step before finally getting shiny diancie I decided to do a route. The closest one was at the other side of the highway so I thought "ok I'll select it, go to that side when I can, then go back until it starts"
Turns out it started while I was at the other side of the highway and it walked with me even if I was so far away
Other days I've had routes not start unless I am at the exact point of beginning. So I guess it's chaos lol. If someone knows the logic behind routes please let me know
By the way, I wasn't walking on the highway, I was on a promenade near the highway. So that's also a bit chaotic
