Switches and Switches – Can You Keep Up?! 🏃♂️🔁
Mega Lucario Sweep 💯 The enemy kicked off strong on turn 1. but then the ally switch hits… Not once, but twice! Opponents are left scratching their heads, Baiting misplays, overpredicting, second-guessing, falling into traps & moves get missed, and before they know it they’re forfeiting & leaving the match 😁
* The opponent had a strong start, focusing both of their poison attacks on Farigiraf (assuming I’d use Follow Me). They didn’t bait a switch to replace it with Lucario, on which poison moves have no effect. but they failed to KO Farigiraf.. making the Beat Up combo possible 😊
Key Takeaway:
* Ally Switch is the real MVP of this match 👌 It is one of the game-defining tool in high-level play. Pairing your main sweeper with a support Pokemon that can use Ally Switch lets you bypass speed disadvantages, bait misplays, and seize control of the match. Mastering timing and prediction turns every turn into an opportunity to dictate tempo and force your opponent into a losing position 💯

Note: Do not use Lucario and Farigiraf as a starting lead! It's very predictable and easy to counter, which will almost certainly end in disaster lol. Make sure Lucario is switched in later. I use Clefable and Farigiraf as the lead, baiting my opponent into using Steel or Poison type moves on Clefable, thinking it will use Follow Me. Then, I suddenly switch out to Lucario, making the Steel and Poison moves ineffective to it and the Beat Up setup can be done safely 💯
Did you know? 💡
Ally Switch received a significant nerf in Scarlet and Violet, But is still one of the game-defining tool in high-level play!

Here’s my team ID: GKF5A17J7R
Feel free to try it out, and let me know if you want a full breakdown of how everything works together 💯
I combined Farigiraf and Lucario into my Azumarill team, using the same strategy with Follow Me and Ally Switch to disrupt their predictions and protect my big damage dealers
I use the same team but instead of Azumaril or Lucario i use Blastoise with shell smash, after het is set up you can throw Pelipper for setting the rain and using helping hand on blastoise so his water spout can 1hko any pokemon no matter what type😂😂
If this team encounters Corviknight, how should they deal with it?
Oh hes tiny tiny
Oh shoot, trevenant…ok im in
Thank you for sharing. I really love the idea of Lucario searching everywhere for a suitable teammate.
lmao back-to-back ally switch is pure evil
