For a while now, we've had the ability to tag Pokémon, to help organise storage. It's a cool feature and everyone uses it for some reason or another.
But organising the friends list can be a real pain. A lot of people use the nickname feature to organise and I've seen people nickname their friends by Scatterbug region, some use it to tag raiders, some use it to tag their country… And that's fine! But when searching your friends list it can only be used for one of these things.
I've been hoping for this feature for years now. I personally would love to tag local users, so I can search "local&lucky" to find who I can trade with at meetups. Or "Raiders" when inviting active remote people to raids. Or even "Tundra" if I'm searching for that specific Scatterbug
And if you don't care for it, that's fine, you don't have to use it! I just know this would benefit so many people.
