Probably because they need to sell games.

Calling it without reading: they want to make it profitable while reducing its affordability as little as possible

This article has been posted so many times across a few days, it’s becoming annoying.

I just read the article. It’s all about RAM prices, guys. It’s not some conspiracy.

Tech products across the board have seen pricing issues with very few exceptions. The Steam Machine should be out by now but the RAM surge has delayed it to an unknown date.

Be mad at the AI companies buying all the RAM.

The ongoing RAM crisis is hurting so many people including tech companies that sells pcs and consoles. And I saw a RAM stick at my local Microcenter store with a price tag of a thousand five hundred?!

    AI companies are ruining everything

Of course they’ll try to keep the console as affordable as possible despite the RAM and SSD price incrases.

The more expensive the console, the fewer people buy their games; unlike Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo is absolutely adamant of having PC ports of their games.

I guess I *really* won’t be getting a Switch 2 then. What an all time fumble Nintendo has made with this system. It’s the Wii-U all over again.
