Another day, another Fakemon! Today’s is one of my favorites that has been in my mind for a while. Soldog is a dog Pokémon inspired by sun dogs, a weather phenomenon common on the Great Plains. When I think about iconic things from the region I think about the clear big skies and the stunning winter sun dogs. They are so cool and I hope Soldog does them justice. This one was a bit of a struggle because I could not fully render the rainbow effect in the Gen 2 style, but I think it turned out great. As always, let me know if you have any suggestions!
