I’m so tired of all of these games that call themselves “Zelda like” and aren’t

I’ve played a big chunk of mina. It’s a Zelda like. Heavily inspired by the oracle games.

God I am so excited for this game. Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is one of my favorite games of all time. I’ve been chomping at the bit for another in-house developed title from Yacht Club for years.

Played the demo when it was available last year and really liked it. I hope Mina succeeds so Yacht Club Games continues to develop and publish amazing games.

I think they took way too long on this game and the cultural moment for 8 bit retro games has passed. Good luck.

So it is a Zelda-like?
If so then i am definitely playing it. i wasn’t sure if i was gonna play it or not before, since didn’t know what it was exactly.
I can definitely see the art style is very inspired by the GBC Zelda games, i can especially see it because i was literally playing Oracle of Seasons for the first time 30 minutes ago.

I backed the Kickstarter for this game really excited to play the full thing

Bitsy the Game! Hide your sangureah.

I’ve heard it leans more toward being a Souls-like than a Zelda-like.

Day 1 purchase

I bought shovel knight years ago and somewhat enjoyed it but I was bad at it. I later played through Megaman 1-6 via the legacy collection and forced myself not to cheat (except for mm1 yellow devil). I really enjoyed the challenge and learnt alot from it. I went back to shovel knight after and enjoyed it far more the second time round.
I’m also a massive Zelda fan and links awakening is in my top 3 Zelda’s. Mina looks so good in the context of copying Gameboy Zelda’s. I was so ready to play it last October and was sad when it was delayed (even though its a good thing). Definitely a day 1 purchase on switch.
